We were contacted by a client that owned a derelict property in Maghull, Liverpool (L31) that needed total refurbishment.
The property was derelict and had a massive hole in the roof which over the years had left the building with wet rot issues. The property also had historic structural movement which was long-standing.
Our first job was the replace the roof coverings and replacing the damaged timbers throughout the property. There were also rising damp issues which meant we had to take the ground floor plaster back to brick up to 1.2m high in order to create a chemical damp course throughout. The property then underwent a full refurbishment program including full electrical rewire, new gas central heating system, new kitchen and bathroom.
